What a great idea!  The Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department is now offering a “Safe Exchange Location”.

In a Facebook post, the Sheriff’s Department announced it has created two parking spaces in the front parking lot of the Sheriff’s Department marked as “Safe Exchange Location”.  The parking spaces are under video surveillance at all times.

Just another example of how law enforcement is thinking outside of the box to keep citizens safe!
