Mississippi election results certified by state leaders

On Friday morning, Governor Tate Reeves certified victories in the four Mississippi Supreme Court races, solidifying the state�s 2020 General Election results.

Overall, it was a monumental year at the polls as Mississippi voters chose to implement a medical marijuana program, adopt a new state flag, as well as rid of a Jim Crow era law that had been in effect since 1890.

Below, you can find the results for both the ballot measures and the political races.

Ballot Measure #1 � Medical Marijuana

For either medical marijuana program: 68.4% – Winner

Against both medical marijuana programs: 31.6%

Initiative 65: 73.6% –�Winner

Alternative 65A: 26.4%

Ballot Measure #2 � Statewide Election Process

For the amendment of statewide election process: 79% –�Winner

Against the amendment of statewide election process: 21%

Ballot Measure #3 � New State Flag

In favor of the �In God We Trust� flag: 72.8% –�Winner

Against the �In God We Trust� flag: 27.2%
