Over 16-hundred new COVID cases reported in Mississippi

The Mississippi Department of Health is reporting 1,638 more cases of COVID-19 in Mississippi.

This report brings the state’s total number of cases, since the pandemic began, to 140, 429.� �

Here are the top five counties with the most reported cases:

9,358 DeSoto
9,338 Hinds
6,666 Harrison
5,947 Jackson
5,078 Rankin

With the confirmation of 23 additional deaths, 3,642 Mississippians have passed away from the virus.� Health officials say 17 of those�deaths�occurred on�November 14th and November 19th in the following counties:
