The Mississippi State Department of Health has reported 300 new cases of COVID-19 and an additional 7 people have passed away from the virus.�
The new cases bring Mississippi�s total number of cases up to 4,274 with 159 COVID-19 related deaths.�
With Mississippi yet to reach its peak, the statewide �shelter-in-place� was extended until April 27th by Governor Tate Reeves late last week.�
